Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today made an assertion that the incumbent government is 'living' and will accomplish unimagined tasks.
Inaugurating the ninth National General Convention of Public Organization Employees Association Nepal here, Oli said the present government despite the earthquake and blockade, among other hurdles has given a sense of a 'living government' by increasing the employees' allowance by 25 per cent.
"The government is currently living, it will accomplish tasks that people have not imagined," he said.
The PM further added that it was not just a mere dream of developing the country, but a development plan.
The PM conceded the difficulties in working with 15 political parties despite the government's preparation to ramp up its work. "It is difficult to understand that the government is working in a different manner, my own party does not understand this, let alone others," PM Oli said.
The PM spoke of the continuing incidents of people dying after falling from wireless bridge 'tuin' in the country, and pledged to replace such hazardous route by next year.
He urged the employees to not be lethargic and postpone today's work for tomorrow, and rotate the people's files without resolving their problems.
Association's Chairman, Krishnaman Shrestha said the 25 per cent increment in allowance has motivated the employees and expressed commitment to end the defects seen in employees' working style.
The General Convention will be held for two days. RSS
