The first trailer of Hrithik Roshan’s latest movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ has been released. The movie directed by directed by Ashutosh Gowariker also stars Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi.
The movie Co-written and co-produced by Ashutosh Gowariker, is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita A Gowariker.
The female lead, Pooja Hegde, has earlier starred in Tamil superhero film, Mugamoodi, in 2012, Telugu films Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda in 2014.
Hrithik was last seen in Bang Bang (2014) opposite to Katrina Kaif. The actor is currently working on Sanjay Gupta’s next Kaabil.
The movie is scheduled to release in cinemas on August 12, clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Rustom.
The movie is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BC. The movie is about a man who falls in love with his enemy’s daughter who is a dancer. Centered on romance through the cultures and ancient civilizations of Mohenjo-daro, Gowariker took over three years to develop the film with the help of archaeologists who documented the discovery of Indus Valley civilization.
